Accountability in healthcare is a legal obligation as well as an ethical and moral responsibility. When organizations don’t have appropriate strategies to deal with disruptive and toxic behaviors, it can result in patient safety issues, low staff morale, and cost burdens. In this course, co-facilitated by internationally recognized experts, physician leaders will learn what behaviors undermine a culture of safety, how to address them, and the proper legal steps to take if needed. You’ll leave equipped with the skills and tactics necessary to change the culture of a team or organization using evidence-based methods supported by more than 25 years of research.
Faculty: William Cooper MD, MPH & Charles Reiter
