Course Objectives

  • Align personal quality expectations with those of the organization, its patients, employees, and external governing bodies.
  • Implement a Just Culture in an organization; specifically, a culture that promotes accountability and learning
  • Motivate peers and colleagues to find, create, pursue, and systemize organizational improvement and innovation
  • Develop and utilize quality improvement tools to solve unique, organization-specific issues pertaining to quality
  • Communicate in ways that connect instead of inform, in order to resonate emotionally with people and inspire them to action
  • Forecast ROI on all quality improvement initiatives by analyzing costs, considering potential challenges ,and adopting the organization’s Chief Financial Officer as an ally
  • Measure quality improvement progress against the standards established by other organizations

Method of Participation

To complete this program successfully and claim credit, participants must follow these steps:

  • Read the educational objectives provided on the course summary page
  • Attend the sessions or watch all the video lectures for this course (if applicable)
  • Read any course materials and complete any required activities
  • Complete the course evaluation and post-test via your dashboard on the Association website. Successful completion of a given activity's post-test requires a minimum 75% passing score prior to claiming CME credit, with three attempts allowed
  • CME certificates will be available for printing after claiming CME credit
  • Estimated time for course completion is equivalent to the CME credit hours
