Course Description
This course curriculum offers insights, case studies, and learning activities that will expand your knowledge base around leadership and navigating conflict, as well as strengthen your ability to identify, analyze, and manage disruptive behaviors. Course Objectives
- Identify and analyze disruptive behavior in the context of healthcare scenarios.
- Determine one’s personal leadership style and integrate that awareness into strategies for behavior management.
- Investigate a professional behavior complaint and identify the appropriate action steps to follow post-complaint.
- Discuss the implications of mental health and differing personality types in the context of behavior management.
- Formulate both proactive and reactive strategies to prevent, manage, and mitigate physician burnout individually and systemically.
