Core Concepts in HIT

Health care relies on increasingly complex technology to engage with clinical acumen in ways to achieve better patient outcomes. The ability to understand and use technology and guide cross-discipline teams in its implementation and use is essential for physician leaders at all levels.

You’ll grasp the key elements of health information technology and be able to speak its language. This course will give you the building blocks you need to succeed in intermediate and advanced HIT courses that assume some foundational knowledge, which few physicians acquire in clinical studies.

This course is part of the Health IT Certificate.
