Abstract

In the aftermath of a historic election year primarily centered on issues such as the economy, inflation, and border security/immigration, health policy received relatively little attention during campaign discussions. Specific action items concerning the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medicaid, and immigration health policy were minimally communicated. Nevertheless, significant developments in these areas are anticipated during the initial year of President Trump's second term. This article provides an overview of the policy discussions related to the ACA, Medicaid, and immigration health policy.
