Abstract
Coaching has emerged as a powerful intervention in professional and organizational contexts, demonstrating significant impacts on well-being, performance, and leadership development. This study reviews empirical evidence on the effectiveness of coaching, focusing on physician coaching aimed at leadership development. Findings from meta-analyses highlight positive outcomes, such as psychological well-being, resilience, job satisfaction, and professional performance. Physician coaching, particularly in leadership, demonstrates substantial benefits in mitigating burnout, fostering resilience, and improving quality of care. This study synthesizes findings from recent studies and meta-analyses to provide a practical overview of healthcare organizations considering coaching interventions for physicians.
