Dr. Krista Skorupa is a Senior Division Chair for Regional Practices at Essentia Health, a 2.2 billion, integrated health system serving patients in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. She has oversight for the rural clinics, regional hospitals, long-term care facilities, and post-acute services in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Prior to this role for the past 15 years she has had progressive leadership roles and most recently was the Vice President of Medical Practice at M Health Fairview. Krista received her medical degree from the University Of North Carolina Chapel Hill School Of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota St. John’s Family Medicine program. She is board-certified in family medicine. In 2019 she received her physician executive certification (CPE) from the American Association for Physician Leaders and in 2023, received a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas Health Care MBA program. Dr. Skorupa’s professional interests include system integration and transformation, leadership development, and practice management.
